About Delaney:
Raised in Dallas, Texas, Delaney gravitates towards telling stories about the weirdos and outsiders through the lens of magical realism. It was at Ringling College of Art and Design that she took her love for film a step further and was able to dive headfirst not only into the world of storytelling but also the world of branded entertainment. There, she discovered her passion for creating unique spec ads (speculative advertisements) on top of working on short films, documentaries, and music videos.
Besides her BFA in film, which she received in May of 2024, Delaney also holds a double minor in Business of Art & Design and Creative Writing. In 2023, she worked as a Video Production Intern at the American Heart Association. She has been recognized for her work with multiple ADDY awards and received the 2022 Sarasota Film Society Scholarship and the 2024 INDEX Experiential Learning Scholarship.
Recently, the thesis film she wrote and directed, Walk of Generations, received a Silver Telly Award in the Student Branded Content Category.
